Yearbook is Fun
Whether you're a helping with photography or participating in design and layout, yearbook is a lot of fun. Below are some ways in which you can participate.
The journalism classes at HBHS create both the yearbook and the CavChron (online newspaper). If you're in the class, you'll have the option of participating in either. The work is great, and the people are even better.
Join Us 4th Period
A lot of the work gets done 4th period. If you want to join the team, let us know by contacting one of the advisors. We'll interview you to see whether your interests and schedule are a good fit. Keep in mind that we are looking for HIGHLY dedicated people who plan to participate on a regular basis–even when it's not convenient for them.
Become a Photographer
We need people to photograph specific activities and events. The fringe benefit of joining the team is that you'll be trained by a professional photographer to become a better photojournalist. You can join by contacting Mr. Illingworth and/or by texting @newcamera to 81010 to receive announcements about our photography meetings. We won't have your phone number, but you'll be able to get messages through Remind.com.
Even if you don't become an official yearbook photographer, you can still contribute photographs. In fact, we hope you will. You can learn more here. We need lots of interesting photographs from HBHS life in order to create a fantastic yearbook.
